Molly C. Casey, Attorney, Maguire Cardona P.C.

Molly earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from New York University in 2006. Prior to law school, Molly began her career working in both houses of the New York State Legislature. There, she honed exceptional statutory interpretation and construction skills through her work in crafting and developing legislation, and guiding bills through the committee and legislative process. After obtaining her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2012, Molly went to work in private practice defending clients in civil litigation. Prior to joining Maguire Cardona, Molly was a partner in a highly regarded law firm in the Capital Region.

Molly focuses her practice in the fields of medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, municipal and correctional defense, and personal injury. Molly has experience in all phases of litigation, and has successfully obtained jury verdicts in favor of her clients, as well as dismissals prior to trial through motion practice. Molly has successfully argued appeals before the Appellate Division in both the Second and Third Departments. Molly also takes classes in the Health Sciences at Hudson Valley Community College to enhance her understanding of the complex medical issues that are encountered in her practice.

Molly is admitted to practice in New York State, The United States District Courts for the Northern, Western, and Southern Districts of New York, and the Second Federal Circuit.

Molly is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association, the Albany County Bar Association, and she currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer for the Federal Court Bar Association. She also is the Third Judicial District Representative for the Torts and Insurance Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. For the past two years, Molly has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine.

Mackenzie E. Kesterke, Maguire Cardona, P.C

Mackenzie E. Kesterke earned her Juris Doctor in 2016 from Albany Law School. She is a 2013 cum laude graduate of the State University of New York, College at Brockport, where she earned a dual degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.

During law school, Mackenzie was a member of the international law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta, a member of Albany Law School’s Legacy Committee, and the recipient of the Founder’s Scholarship for Academia. She was a competitor in the Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials moot court competition and was also a Teacher’s Assistant in a legal capacity at Albany Medical School.

Prior to joining Maguire Cardona, P.C., Mackenzie was of counsel for the New York State Law Enforcement Officers Union, Council 82, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, where she began her career as an intern during law school. She also completed internships at the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office and with the Honorable Spencer Ludington at the Oswego County Surrogate’s Court.

Mackenzie is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. She is also a member of the New York Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association.

Amanda Kateri Kuryluk, Maguire Cardona P.C.

Amanda Kuryluk is a 2007 graduate of Siena College's honors program where she earned a dual degree in Political Science and Spanish. She graduated from the Claude W. Pettit College of Law of Ohio Northern University in 2010, where she received her J.D. In law school, Amanda was an Associate Editor to the Ohio Northern Law Review Journal, a member of Phi Alpha Delta, worked as a research assistant, and was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence (2008-2010). During law school Amanda volunteered at Ohio Northern’s Legal Clinic, where she provided legal services in the areas of family law, social security disability, and other general civil litigation matters to the underserved and disadvantaged. For Amanda’s service to the legal clinic she earned a Pro Bono Certificate. Prior to joining Maguire Cardona, P.C., Amanda worked as an associate at a highly regarded law firm in the capital region. Amanda has experience in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, personal injury, and criminal law defense.

She is admitted to practice in the State of New York, State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, and the Third Federal Circuit.

Amanda is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association, the Capital District Women's Bar Association, and she currently serves as the co-chair of Albany County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Committee. She also serves as a mentor for Siena College's pre-law program and is a volunteer for the Bus Stop Club.

Matthew J. Kelly, Roemer Wallens Gold & Mineaux LLP

Jim is a partner of the Firm, overseeing all litigation. He began his legal career as Staff Counsel to the New York Public Service Commission from 1979 to 1983, and has been in private practice since that time. Jim has tried over one hundred civil and criminal cases to verdict throughout New York State in all four Departments of the Appellate Division and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts. Jim was appointed as an Arbitrator in the Albany City Court and as a Mediator for the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York. He was also appointed to the Governor’s Judicial Selection Committee for the Third Department by Chief Judge Hon. Judith Kaye and reappointed by Chief Judge Hon. Jonathan Lippman. He has also been appointed to the Character and Fitness Committee of the Appellate Division Third Department by Presiding Judge Hon. Karen Peters, and re-appointed by Hon. Elizabeth A. Garry. Jim continues to be the Chairman of the Albany County Bar Association Diversity Internship Program for Minority Law Students, and was one of its original organizers.
