This program gives employment lawyers a comprehensive overview of the employment arbitration process and offers practical advice for achieving successful outcomes and avoiding pitfalls. Topics covered include: arbitration agreements and motions to compel arbitration, the pros and cons of various arbitral forums, arbitrator selection, issues relating to arbitration costs, pleadings, pre-hearing conferences, discovery, motion practice, issues relating to the arbitration hearing (use of exhibits, evidentiary issues, strategy), and post-hearing motions.
