Are you a general practitioner interested in expanding your practice to include commercial litigation?  Has a client come to your office with a potential commercial dispute, breach of contract, or business tort?  This program, designed for the general practitioner and taught by members of the NYSBA General Practice and Commercial and Federal Litigation sections, will walk you through the initial steps in handling a commercial dispute, including the plaintiff's perspective on how to assess and value a case, affirmative defenses and motions to dismiss, provisional remedies, and the role of discovery in a commercial case.
