Description

This program should provide attorneys engaged in real estate, land use, environmental, trust and estates, municipal, tax and general practice with a useful working introduction to the planning, drafting and administration of conservation easements. It will also benefit attorneys with some experience with conservation easements, but who have not had an opportunity to take a step back and acquire a comprehensive overview of the issues and challenges these transactions present. The program will provide an understanding of the major components of a conservation transaction, the potential complexities and pitfalls, and where to turn for assistance in dealing with specific issues.
