Total Credits: 1.0 Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias
 
A survey of the employment laws and regulations of New York State and the United States designed to understand and apply employment laws in the workplace, from small business environments to multi-national corporations. Attendees will enhance their knowledge for future communications, hiring/firing, discipline, promotion, and management of employees, to ensure an inclusive, diverse, productive workforce, and to broaden knowledge for advising clients concerning same. Particular discussion will focus on discrimination and anti-discrimination, retaliation, protected classes, disability law, and leave policies.
