2017 is the year to eliminate paper from your office! Most lawyers feel they are being over-run with paper, and ironically, the more paper lawyers have, the harder it is to find what they’re looking for. This seminar illustrates how to get organized and reduce paper in your office from document generation/automation to the closing of a matter, and how to minimize the need to keep injecting paper into your workflow (faxes, printing documents in order to review them, etc.). We will explain how the iPad, copiers, desktop scanners and PDFs can all work together to reduce paper, lower operating costs and significantly improve efficiency. We will demonstrate search utilities, scanning a client’s file, discuss document naming conventions and explain how to build a matter-centric electronic filing system in formal document managements systems (like Worldox, etc.), or in a Windows folder structure on a shoestring budget.
