With the passage of New York’s Paid Leave Law as well as the expected winds of change in the aftermath of the recent presidential election, it is a good time to examine the latest hot topics and trends in Labor and Employment law.  This program will focus on the soon to be effective New York Paid Leave Law, Freelance Isn’t Free Act, an update on the status of the New York City Earned Sick Time Act, an examination of the status of the recently enacted rulemaking that was intended to revise the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act overtime provisions and a review of the New York State overtime law.
