Description
This program is designed for criminal defense and family law practitioners who may be representing noncitizen clients, and will offer guidance on issues relating to identifying immigration status and addressing unintended immigration consequences that may arise from a criminal court disposition or family court outcome. The program will also provide attorneys with valuable information on immigration applications and waivers that are designed to help a noncitizen client maintain or apply for valid immigration status. This program will offer invaluable resource information designed to protect the rights of immigrant clients.
