This program will provide attendees with a comprehensive update to internet and technology-related laws and regulations applicable to businesses in the U.S. and abroad. The program will cover the most recent privacy and cybersecurity developments in the U.S., an introduction to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - which promises to be the most significant data privacy regulation in 20 years, developments in defamation and intellectual property law, legal issues related to the use of social media, and the enforceability of contracts and tax issues related to U.S. e-Commerce businesses.
