The significant changes to New York's power of attorney law in 2009 also included many perceived flaws, difficulties and inconsistencies. Many of these shortcomings and unintended problems have now been addressed in the legislation passed and signed in mid-2010(Chapter 340) that makes technical corrections and revisions to the 2009 law.
