This program hopes to address issues and practical skills to call out the unconscious bias women often face in communications and the difficult conversations with colleagues, clients and others that can follow. Not being fully heard above the fray can stop the progression of one’s career, undermine solid legal arguments, or cause clients to lose faith in a lawyer’s abilities. This is particularly true for female attorneys who might be faced with hurdles in communications based on sex or age, whether by misguided gender ideas or outright discrimination. Our panel of experts will provide information and strategies on how to effectively communicate and persuasively face these issues.
