Michael L. Fox is Assistant Professor of Business Law and Pre-Law Advisor at Mount Saint Mary College, in Orange County, New York, teaching in the undergraduate and Masters of Business Administration programs.  In addition, he is an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Law, in Professional Responsibility, at Columbia University School of Law in New York City.  Professor Fox recently published a book on electronic discovery, social media and ethics, entitled Primer for an Evolving eWorld (Kendall Hunt Publ. Co. 2019).  He received his Bachelor of Arts, as Phi Beta Kappa, from Bucknell University, and his Doctor of Law degree from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.  He has served as a law clerk to a federal district judge; as a litigation associate at a Wall Street firm; as a partner and litigation managing attorney with a Hudson Valley firm; as deputy corporation counsel and special labor counsel for a city in the Hudson Valley; and as special counsel with a Hudson Valley firm just prior to entering academia.  He has been rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell since 2015.  He is a former Vice President for the Ninth Judicial District of the NYSBA, former member of the NYSBA Executive Committee, and is currently a member of the House of Delegates and Chair of the Committee on Communications & Publications, among other positions held with NYSBA and other bar associations.  He has authored or co-authored a number of articles and CLE materials, and spoken at approximately 100 programs and symposia on a broad range of legal topics, including eDiscovery and Cloud storage
